Karakoram Highway
Where they got the description 'highway' from, I'll never know. More of a goat track than a highway, but good fun. It is common to be held up while repairs are being carried out. It was here that I met some Pakistani's who were stunned that I lived within 1km of the Adelaide Cricket ground and knew nothing about cricket (it's boring).

What you do most of while trying to get around. Waiting for some transport to take Lotem and I to Tashkurgan. We only waited for about two hours, Christian and Monique waited a lot longer I think.

Yep, I did a horse trek to Muztagh-Ata Basecamp, which is at about 5,500m (about 18,000 ft I think). I remember thinking "If only Corinne could see me," I'm sure she would have been stunned to see me on a horse.

This is an amazing part of the world, beautiful scenery, as you can see, and wonderful experiences. One place that I intend to spend more time in.

(And I did spend more time here, one year later on a bike - even better!)
