Backpack Laos
The cool thing about Laos is that it is not all tourist trail. Here are some friends I met, Rhydian and Kelly (Wales) and Helen (Shetland Islands). We had to cross this flooded rice field to get to a site we wanted to visit. The 'path' we are on is about two feet wide. The smile on Rhydian's face says it all.
Strong current, small path, no problem

My worse face, best time
Local Village, Xieng Khuang Province, Laos
My ugliest face (how is it different you ask), but my favourite photo. At a village where we stopped to eat. A little boy was taking the photo, hence the laughter.

The Communists are that way...

...there is no moral to the story, it's just a bunch of stuff that happened...
