To be honest it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. Only a filling in the end, so no problem. To get a better idea of how I was feeling, I have included my diary entry for this.

Why the apprehension?

My first visit to the hospital was for when five of us got hit with food poisoning. I went in to see the Doctor, he looked at me (nothing else) for all of five seconds, said that I had the Flu and prescribed me some medicine which promptly found it's way into a bin (apart from the headache tablets).

My friend Tom was sick for two weeks, finally went to get some tests done and was diagnosed with Leukaemia. Discovered it was a chest infection some time later.

They are overworked and underpaid (seriously) and it is difficult for them, especially with the language barrier. But this knowledge doesn't fill you with confidence.

...there is no moral to the story, it's just a bunch of stuff that happened...
