Life in China - Chinglish
Another common occurance is the prevalance of Chinglish. Many times you just cannot understand what the English says - but then again, they're doing better than my Chinese...

So we laugh at their English. I have a friend here who has a tattoo of the Chinese character 'friend' on his shoulder, except it's only half the character he needs, so it looks a little funny.

Back in Australia I now notice people with Chinese characters that just do not make sense, even yi ru (Mabel) looks at them and tries to figure them out with little success (mind you, some are great and quite impressive, but they are the exception).

I can't wait until they get English tattoos in China with expressions like "You are handsome" or "Can we be friends" or "Can I practice my English".

Now, that would be funny.

...there is no moral to the story, it's just a bunch of stuff that happened...
