Life in China
Married

One of the good things about getting married was that members of my family came over. Not everybody could get here, but it was good to see those that were able to make it.

Mum, David (Brother), Nicole (Sister), Roslyn and Brenton (Sister and Brother-in-Law). They also brought over a whole range of goodies with them - Vegemite, Chokitos and Polly Waffles, Magazines, Pictionary and a Play Station (with games!). Now Play Station, that's a real wedding present...

It was interesting to see the family try the different food that is on offer over here in China (well, David's travelled many places and eaten many things, but it was interesting for the rest). There is nothing here that is like what we call 'Chinese Food' back in Australia. Most of that stuff is from the south of China, the rest of China has a totally different style of taste (and quite good) - Duck's Blood soup, Cow Stomach Lining, Fish (inc tail and head), 'real' spring rolls, to name a few.

I think in this picture they've all just eyed the stomach lining...

It was fun while they were here, good to see them again. They are slightly mentally disturbed at times, but made a good wedding that much better. Hopefully see them again in another year or two.

Cue: "I'm leaving on a jet plane..."

They look normal now, but...
Leaving me to get back to my sanity...
...there is no moral to the story, it's just a bunch of stuff that happened...
