Life in China
Qiao Tou Campus

For 2001/2002, I taught at a campus in the village of Qiao Tou. The Third World stops at the gate and inside the campus it is another world. Still a bit of rubbish inside the gate, but generally quite pleasant.

View looking from the entrance. That's Sophia, a Chinese teacher and very good friend (though I'll deny it if she reads this) on the left.
Looking down the centre of one of the teaching buildings. Relatively clean - but bloody cold in the winter.
